I thought maybe, just maybe I would start this journal up again. I think it might be more productive and fufilling than browsing www.thefacebook.com all day. A certain someone discovered my journal (how I have absolutely no idea)so I decided to delete all my previous entries and start all over again. Mainly so I can spare myself from too much embarrasment. However, don't worry! I did save all my entries, so I can one day look back and remember who I had a crush on when I was 15.

I hope everyone had a very fun, exciting, and safe New Years. This was actually the first year I've done something big. I'm used to watching Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with my cousin Ashley and drinking sparkling cider. I had a little pow wow at my house with some close friends at UCLA and of course friends from home. I had a fabulous time and hope everyone else did! Pretty much my playlist of songs was a big hit. I think, by far, my favorite part of the night was when my cousin and I crashed in my brother's room at about 2 am. About 10 minutes later we heared voices and footsteps coming towards the room. Ravi and A.J. came in and snuggled with us. We talked for a long time (about very serious topics might I add hehe). But on a serious note, it was a time of true contentment for me. I think that's what life is all about. The times when you can curl up in your bed with four of your best friends. When you can laugh uncontrollably and be foolishly silly without a care in the world. For I am truly blessed to experience this with most of my friends all the time. I love those two boys more than you could ever know.

I have this gut feeling 2006 is going to be an amazing year, not just for me, but for all of us. I've had 3 of the hardest months of my life this past year. However, in the long run the hard times can only be thought of as an amazing learning experience. I've learned so much about myself and about other people that I may not have learned otherwise. I know I have so many things to work on and hopefully all this will make me a better and stronger person. I'm looking forward to whatever God has in store for me over the next year! Hopefully some very good things :)

I love you all so much. Thanks for taking care of me.

I love being home and spending time with the fam, but I so look forward to UCLA and all its glory.
